Kill For Me, Kill For You is a book about three women; two of then are named Amanda and Wendy, who discover that they are both similar in that they lost their familes, and are willing to get rid of the other's worst enemy. The other woman is named Ruth, who gets attacked by a mysterious blue eyed man and struggles to feel safe within the busy city. For how far I got in the novel, the story is very gripping and I can't wait to find out more later.
 
 

Pokémon Adventures (gold And Silver), Vol. 8

Pokémon Adventures Vol.8 is the beginning of the Gold Silver and Crystal arc, where we are thrown to the Johto region and meet Gold (the best character in the series), and a strange thief named Silver. Gold's mission? Find out the true motives of Silver. This book introduces a way better cast of characters compared to the last two arcs, so it is very high up in my rankings.

In this book, we see a young boy named Naruto who is an orphan and ninja in training dreaming of become hokage (emperor or king). This is my second favorite manga/anime and I know it’s others' favorite.

It delves into Voldemort's past and Harry's preparation for the final battle. J.K. Rowling was able to include a lot of mystery, romance, and dark magic.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever

In this book of the series, Greg is on the run from the district and the police for vandalizing property. As he hides in his house, he realizes he’s snowed in from a blizzard. He now has to wait it out and see what happens to him after the storm clears. In my opinion, this book was really great and it’s a great Christmas themed diary, im really happy that they came out with a movie for it too.
 
 

One Piece, Vol. 1

In this book, Monkey D. Luffy is a boy with somewhat extraordinary powers after eating a substance called the “Gum Gum devil fruit” which gave him the power to be stretchy like rubber. In the book, Luffy is set out on a quest to find a hidden treausre left by Legendary pirate Gold Roger named “The One Piece”. This is what sparked the golden era known as “The great Pirate era”. On the way, he meets friends and new crew mates to help him on his journey. In my opinion, this book is great for teens who like manga/anime, I would also recommend watching the anime and the new live action show on Netflix!
 
 

The Silver Eyes (Five Nights at Freddy's Graphic Novel #1)

This book is somewhat based off the five nights at Freddy’s games and it shows how dark and scary the game is. This book is set in a fictional town called Hurricane in the state of Utah. It’s a weird town, kids disappear and murders seem to be a common occurrence in this town. In this book 4 kids explore an abandoned mall which was once home to their childhood memories and trauma. Freddy’s Pizzeria. This place has been abandoned since the murders of 5 kids happened back in the year 1983. The more they explore the more they uncover what police and officials have been trying to keep secret. In my opinion, this is somewhat a twisted and gory book because it shows the death of children and gruesome ways someone can die. This would be something in a teen or young adult could read. but in all, great book and it puts a lot of more story to the video games.
 
 

Wonder
by R. J. Palacio

I read this book each summer because this is one of my favorite summer books and it fascinates me that a boy with a disability finds a way to live and be like a normal person despite what people may believe about him. The character August or Auggie is a 10 year old boy who has a skin condition where his skin will look deformed or burnt, not a lot of people learn to appreciate him but more into the book he makes friends and memories with people that help him learn how to appreciate himself and not to listen to what others may think. In my opinion, this book is a life lesson to people who may say bad things about themselves or to other people.
 
 

Not So Shoujo Love Story

I thought Not So Shoujo Love Story had a really good plot and was actually pretty funny. It's about Rei who dreams of having the perfect shoujo love story which all comes crashing down when a girl starts obsessing over her and begging her to date her. This throws Rei's whole shoujo love story off as she tries to figure out what to do. It has a bunch of funny moments between the two main characters and other characters who are met later in the story. (I forgot to mention the humor can be cringey at points but it's still enjoyable)
